A Little About Me
Before I can begin talking about important moments in my life, I guess I've gotta tell you about me! I'm Lawson Estridge, I'm currently 17 and a senior at Lexington High School. As you can probably tell I'm an avid photographer, but I also love my family, nature, DOGS, and singing. I have two amazing parents, and a sister, Madison (21) who I couldn't do life without. I've lived in Lexington, South Carolina my entire life, and I couldn't ask for a better place. I've been blessed with countless opportunities to meet new people, expand my passions, and be adventurous in pursuit.
A major part of my life has been photography. My obsession with photography began in 6th grade, when I started on my Stepdad's Fujifilm point-and-shoot. Ever since then, I've been thrown into a whirlwind of pictures, cameras, and doing what I love. One of my lesser known passions in music. I didn't take it very seriously as a kid (sorry mom, I never tried in piano lessons), but playing the Baritone and Trombone since middle school gave me a new appreciation for the art of music. As well as instrumental music, I was coerced into joining choir my junior year (definitely wasn't peer-pressure). I was unsure about it at first, but I met a man named Gary Calloway who helped me not only find my love for singing, but has been one of the most influential people in my life. Mr. Calloway, if you're reading this, I love you. Senior year came and I was yet again coerced into joining Lexington's show choir, Golden Blues. Becoming a show choir kid changed my life, as I have made some of the most incredible friends I could ever ask for over the past year.
If you can't already tell, I'm not the greatest writer. I ramble and can't say that I'm the most grammatically correct person that ever lived, but who cares I'm gonna give it a shot. Let's see how this goes.
